Day 2

Aggregation platforms, MaaS, Autonomous vehicles: They are here!

New technology and innovative approaches are emerging and changing the face of mobility as we know it. Carsharing must adapt to truly integrate this new paradigm.

Aggregation platforms constitute new powerful marketing tools that improve customer experience, promote carsharing to potential clients and set the base for the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) approach. Will this new tech and approach bring carsharing to the next level or will they create a barrier between carsharing operators and their customers?

The arrival of autonomous vehicles raises questions about the need for private car-ownership. Will this technology finally give carsharing the leverage it requires to become a mass service?
